I am Riya, a Marketing Manager in Delhi and recently I embarked on a solo trip to Manali To escape the city hustle and for a much needed recharge. Chasing deadlines and targets for countless now, I was sure that I needed a break, peaceful and close to nature. Manali had been on my list for a while, and I finally booked a one-week trip.
I spent a lot of time online searching for the best hotels in Manali, while planning, especially ones that had great views and peaceful surroundings. That’s when I came across Tiaraa Hotels and Resorts. This place turned out to be more than just a hotel—it became the highlight of my trip.
The River View That Won Me Over
The river view rooms are what instantly drew me to Tiarra Hotels and Resorts. I wanted to stay in a place that was close to nature and gave me the view for beautiful scenery right outside my window. As I checked in and opened the doors of my private balcony, I was left stunned. The rush of Beas river flowing below, fresh air and the up close view of snow-covered mountains in the distance—it was exactly what I had imagined.
The room itself was spacious, cozy and clean. All the amenities, be it the bedding or lighting were designed and placed thoughtfully to make the space feel warm and peaceful. Over time I have stayed in many luxury hotels in Manali, but none had this level of comfort along with such a stunning view. Just sitting on the balcony with a cup of tea became my favorite part of the day.
Food, Service, and Comfort
Most of the meals during my stay were at the in-house restaurant at Tiaraa. All the meals, be it breakfast or dinner after a long day of sightseeing and adventure were like god send, as they tasted fresh and very home-like. The staff in each corner of the hotel was very polite, helpful and quick with any requests I had.
I would like to give a special mention to how easy and smooth, from check in to room service and spa booking was at Tiaraa. All their actions and gestures reflected thoughtfulness which made it very clear that they care a lot about their guests. This level of service is what makes Tiaraa stand out among the best hotels in Manali.
Exploring Manali from a Great Base
During the week I stayed in Manali, I was able to explore all the popular spots, such as Solang Valley, Hadimba Temple, Manu Temple, and the local market. Local transport bookings were seamlessly managed by the hotel and they even suggested the best time to visit so I was able to avoid heavy crowds. One of these days, I decided to stay in and relax with a massage at the in-house spa and a walk around the property.Compared to other 4 star hotels in Manali, Tiaraa gives you a great balance—perfect for exploring the area but also a great place to just relax.
A Solo Trip That Felt Safe and Welcoming
Safety and comfort were paramount for me as a solo female traveller. At Tiaraa, I felt extremely secure, and well taken care of throughout the duration of my stay. A special mention to the staff, for they were always available yet never felt intrusive in my private space. That balance really made me feel at ease.
Tiaraa made me feel like I had my own quiet corner in the mountains. I didn’t feel like just another guest. This personal touch is rare, even among the best hotels in Manali.
Why Tiaraa Stands Out
I came to Manali looking for peace, and I left feeling refreshed and recharged. Tiaraa Hotels and Resorts gave me everything I needed—a cozy room with a river view, amazing service, great food, and a calm environment to just be.
Tiaraa is a complete experience in itself and not just a hotel with rooms. The views, the food, the staff, and the little thoughtful touches everywhere make it a place you want to come back to. The river view rooms are definitely a big reason why I’d rate this among the top best hotels in Manali. But it’s the full experience that truly makes it special.
If you’re planning to visit with friends, family, or even solo like I did, Tiaraa is the kind of place that works for everyone. It has the peaceful charm of a boutique retreat but with the full comforts of a 4 star hotel in Manali.
